Welcome to a dream that started in the dust...

In 2019 I had an opportunity to visit Maxixe in Inhambane, Mozambique. On a sweltering day in a village stricken with poverty, but filled with an abundance of hope, I looked down at my dust-covered feet, the dusty seems of my skirt flapping in the breeze and feeling more at home than ever before.

There was something so beautifully mundane about that moment that I wanted to capture it and treasure it in my heart forever. I fell in love with the vulnerability, simplicity and honesty with which the people of Maxixe lived and I realised that the real wonder and glory is not in the perfectly scripted parts of our lives but rather in the small, seemingly insignificant ones that shape our day-to-day existence.

My heart is to capture life as it unfolds, as honestly and unscripted as possible. To preserve both the beauty and chaos of daily life and to celebrate this incredible story we get to live through pictures. So here you won't find too many perfectly posed photos and hopefully you won't find any fake smiles, but I do hope that you find a little stirring in your heart that the seemingly ordinary things, might be the very things worth remembering in the years to come.
